Testing

This is just my test blog: I test things here before I put them on my real blog.

There Has To Be A Beginning

Does that work?

New Post?

I just noticed that this blog has a follower - a new follower? Weird.

I haven't posted anything here in two years, because we sort of finished our book study a long time ago. Even then, I don't think anyone was reading it.

But it looks to me like there's a new watcher - are you out there? If so: welcome! But, um...I don't know what I would write about here. I'll have to pray about it for a while.

In the meantime - enjoy the nice background (that I don't even remember picking and have no idea how it got there).

Fast...and be Merry

So, in the last month three of us have stepped into new realms of fasting: we've either gone on to extended bouts of hunger, or are obediently practicing the discipline for the first time. I'm really interested to hear how it went, what God did, is doing, will do in everyone's lives.

It's been an interesting week for me. As with the last time I fasted, it seemed as if "nothing happened" during the fast itself. However, the ground work had been laid for God to begin to dig deep and uproot things that had been stuck beneath years of flesh and lies. More growth occurred in the few years following that time period than in the 20+ years prior to it.

Sadly, it was not until the past week that I realized there is still junk that has been trapped, and it took another 25 days of diligent obedience to allow God to loosen that stuff. It's been exciting to know that I am entering into another stage of growth and deliverance. It's also been hard to look in the spiritual mirror and to, once again, see the blemishes and wounds. I had forgotten how painful it can be to have to go through this time of healing. Luckily, what I do remember is how wonderful it feels to come through the mess and end up in the glory of God's purification and sanctification.

I'm not afraid of the challenge before me, but I am glad to have the support of my hubby and friends as the physcial arms of God's love to help me through.

So ladies...what about you?

Please disregard personal info...

I am currently posting for three blogs and with the new blogger I am trying to figure out all of the details. Currently my smart-alek comments from my personal blog are strong-arming any other info so it looks like I'm writing from Winchestertonfieldville...oops. If you'd like the background on that, please visit:

I FOUND it!!!

I don't know how, but somehow I've regained acces to our pretty, pretty princess site - WHEE!! I figure all of this new stuff out eventually, but right now I just wanna POST!

Okay...since we've sort of adjusted our format there won't really be so much of a need to post our comments about the weekly meetings (though we have decided that the book does NOT include ten questions Shaina would ask her gynecologist). However, I think I could still come up with a few choice comments on our growth and ministry.

Alrighty, I'm outta here for now...be blessed with peace and joy today!

Yeah God!

Hi ladies!!!

I love you TONS!!! Shaina and I recently received the book The King's Daughter by Diana Hagee and knew INSTANTLY that this is what God wants us to study during our Tuesday night meetings! I know not everyone can make it, so I decided to publish this blog (sorry, I can't remember the myspace login and couldn't set this up there) as a way for us all to comment and ask questions. Right now we are reading chapters 1&2 in the book. I will publish our discussion and thoughts weekly for everyone's participation!

Have a BLESSED day!

Love, Karin
